Emerson Olaf was in Finland in 2009 and at the festival Maata Näkyvissä he saw, among others, G-Powered and HB, two music projects which he had followed for quite a time. But it was only in 2023 that the most improbable happened. Even though Emerson leans to a more metal and gothic side in his projects (Holy Cross, Epic Church), his electronic side meets and matches G-Powered somehow and when there was an opportunity for a collaboration, it was surely taken.
Kimmo Korpela, who started the eurodance / trance act G-Powered in 2005, posted about his plan of having his songs translated and sang in languages other than English or Finnish. Emerson then talked to Timo showing his interest in the idea and then headed to a studio to record his version for "Tahdon Luotta". He struggled and used all his energy to make sure the translated lyrics would still have a connection to the Finnish original version, at the same time trying to make them sound fine and Christian. Portuguese also requires some sense of poetry for the song to sound good to the ears, this was another struggle. Anyway, the final result? "Quero Confiar"

A fun fact in all this is that Emerson Olaf got back to StudioUm (of Giovanni Machado), the same studio he recorded the first album of Epic Church and he could also get the support of Diogo Peres (December Days), the same voice technician who also worked with him for Epic Church.
